Notifications webhook

One URL receives a JSON POST for each event — new sign-up, new enquiry, and the annual chart release. Each body carries a type field and event-specific details. Must be HTTPS. If you set a secret, it's sent as an X-Webhook-Token header (use it directly as an n8n Header Auth value) and as an X-DVC-Signature: sha256=… HMAC.

Who we are

DVC Points Planner is operated by Via Wire Ltd (the “data controller”), registered with the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO). For any privacy or data-protection request, contact us at [email].

What we collect and why

Who we share it with

We use a small number of processors purely to run the service: Twilio (to send your SMS verification code), our hosting provider (to store the data), and — if the operator has configured one — an internal notification endpoint that receives an alert when you sign up (so we know to support you). We do not share your data with advertisers.

How long we keep it

We keep your account while you use it. If an account is inactive for 24 months it is automatically deleted, along with all its data. You can delete your account and data at any time from Settings → Danger zone.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can access, correct, export or erase your data. You can export everything we hold (Settings → Your data) and delete your account yourself (Settings → Danger zone) at any time. To exercise any other right, contact us at the address above. You may also complain to the ICO (ico.org.uk).

Cookies

We use a single, first-party session cookie to keep you signed in. No advertising or tracking cookies.
